Dr. Karen Yeyinmen is an experienced global leadership coach and consultant who applies research – based models to radically transform people, teams and organizations . She specializes in helping mid – size and global companies create dynamic, work – embedded growth systems that unleash strategic capacity at scale. Karen speaks, writes and teaches on management topics including leadership development, culture transformation, and team coaching. Her published works appear in business and academic press and including The Practitioner’s Handbook of Team Coaching and the Journal of Human Rights Education. Dr. Yeyinmen currently serves as part – time faculty in the Master of Science in Leadership Program at Boston College ’s Woods College of Advancing Studies. Her courses build capacity of early and mid – career professionals to lead change from the middle of complex organizations. Her current research investigates the value and tradeoffs of exercising mutual forms of power. Karen earned her Ed.D from Harvard University where she also served as editor and editorial board co – chair for Harvard Educational Review. She earned her M.B.A. from Boston College and her B.A. in Psychology from Brown University. Before launching her independent practice, Karen served in management and consulting roles at global finance, healthcare consulting, and pharmaceutical companies, including Fidelity, Abt Associates, and Novartis. Karen lives with her husband and two daughters in the historic town of Carlisle, MA where she also serves on her town’s Board of Assessors.
