Aaron Rubin is the head of Macquarie Infrastructure & Real Assets’ (MIRA’s) energy investment team in North America, which focuses primarily on investments in the power and midstream sectors. Aaron joined MIRA New York in 2008 and has extensive experience in both investment execution and asset management roles across the energy and transportation sectors. From 2012 to early 2015, Aaron was the head of Macquarie’s business in Russia and Kazakhstan. In that capacity he served as CEO of the Macquarie Russia and CIS Infrastructure Fund, and he remains a Board member of the listed generation company Enel Russia. Prior to joining MIRA, Aaron was a member of JPMorgan’s North American mergers and acquisitions team, where he executed over $100 billion of M&A transactions over seven years. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Queensland.
