Eugene Wu, CFA, is Principal Data Scientist for Markerr , an alternative data company. He is responsible for sourcing, testing, and productizing new datasets. Eugene was a founding data scientist at Real Factors, an alternative data firm later acquired by 7Park Data. Prior to Real Factors, Eugene was at Ellingt on Management Group working in Valuations and Research. Eugene began his career at Blackrock in Portfolio Analytics, working with the team responsible for managing mortgage assets from the Financial Crisis. Eugene holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from Columbia University.
