Robert Paterson, CIPM, FRM, is an Investment Manager at CalPERS. He leads the Performance Analytics team and has responsibility for performance measurement, analysis and maintaining compliance with GIPS. He recently joined the GIPS Asset Owner Subcommittee. Prior to joining CalPERS, Robert was Director of Investment Management Strategic Services at Franklin Templeton Investments where he led teams focused on Performance, Risk and Data Management. He holds a BS in Economics from UC Davis and an MBA from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management.
