CFA Society New York Veteran’s Roundtable Rings the Nasdaq Stock Market Closing Bell
CFA Society New York visited the Nasdaq in Times Square yesterday, July 5th. In honor of the occasion, Thomas Brigandi, CFA, Chair of the Board of Directors of CFA Society New York, rang the Closing Bell.

Arun Manansingh Appointed Executive Director of CFA NY
CFA Society New York (CFA NY) announced today they have appointed Arun Manansingh as Executive Director of CFA NY, effective March 1, 2022. Mr. Manansingh will assume leadership of the Society’s staff and operations.
CFA Society New York’s Thomas Brigandi Announced as CFA Institute’s Americas Volunteer of the Year
Vice Chair Thomas Brigandi, CFA, was honored by CFA Institute—as part of the 2021 Society Awards Programme—with the Volunteer of the Year award for the Americas region. Mr. Brigandi won the award for his tireless volunteer efforts in service of CFA Society New York and the CFA Society® community globally.
Statement of Solidarity
We are saddened to learn of the heinous and senseless killing of eight people in Atlanta, including six women of Asian descent. Sadly, this incident is not an isolated event. Since the onset of the pandemic, hate crimes against Asians have risen at an alarming rate, with nearly 3,800 incidents reported.
