Overview
This will provide a review of the work program of the International Accounting Standards Board, including recently completed, current and future proposed updates to International Financial Reporting Standards. Attendees will get a briefing on new accounting standards that are likely to be approved by the IASB or which are likely to soon become effective, proposed standards for which an exposure draft has been issued (giving users of financial statements the opportunity to submit a comment letter), future potential projects that may be taken on by the IASB and existing standards that are subject to the Board’s Post-Implementation Review. The program is an efficient way for users of financial statements to be brought up to date on the latest developments at the IASB.
