Charlie Dutton CFA

Head of Emerging Market Equities, Senior Portfolio Manager, Emerging Markets Equity — Manulife Investments

Charlie is head of emerging market equities, and senior portfolio manager on the emerging markets equity team. Prior to joining the firm, he was a portfolio manager within the global quality capability team at Ninety One, a South Africa-based global asset manager.

Previously, Charlie was a founding partner of Coupland Cardiff Asset Management, where he structured and designed the firm’s investment philosophy and was the lead manager of an Asian equity strategy. Prior to that, he served as director of Asia-Pacific research at JPMorgan and as a Hong Kong/China consumer analyst at JF Securities.

Charlie began his career at HSBC Securities and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
