Speaker

Steve Baker is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and his area of focus is Private Equity. He has been instrumental in the development of FW Capital’s private equity business since joining the firm in 2000. Steve Baker has over 25 years of private equity experience, having invested in more than 50 companies in his career. He is a member of the FW Capital Investment Committee and serves on several portfolio fund advisory boards. Prior to FW Capital, Baker was a principal with Seaport Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm where he made growth equity and buyout investments in the media, communications, Internet and telecom sectors. Prior to Seaport, he headed corporate development for the Providence Journal Company, overseeing venture investing, partnership development, and mergers and acquisitions for this nearly 200 year-old media company.

CFANY reserves the right to cancel or reschedule all in-person events within 48 hours when inclement weather has been forecasted and travel is restricted by city officials.  The program may also be produced solely via livestream in such circumstances.  Please note the cancellation policy regarding refunds and substitutions.
