Auditors are professionals trained to verify financial statements, but as we all know, unreliable financial statements are a recurring problem. We will have a series of experts explaining the state of today’s audit process, how it has and continues to changes over time and what signals investors should look out for in evaluating financial statements to help identify possibly inaccurate statements.

[Webinar] FASB Chairman Russell Golden

Russell G. Golden's 7-year term as FASB Chairman is coming to an end in June. A long-time staff member at the FASB, Mr. Golden served as Technical Director of the FASB, overseeing staff work on accounting standards and technical application and implementation activities and chaired the Emerging Issues Task Force before becoming FASB Chairman. These roles helped prepare him to lead the adoption and implementation of two of the most significant revisions to accounting standards ever: revenue recognition and lease accounting. At this presentation,Mr. Golden will reflect on his years leading the FASB, the Board's accomplishments, as well as its unfinished business. He will also provide a personal assessment of accounting standard setting and financial reporting in the years ahead.
