Global View of Macro Strategy Trends & Commodity Markets
Macroeconomic and geopolitical forces have unavoidable impact on asset prices globally, while at the same time individual markets across equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities all have very unique characteristics. How do these forces interrelate, and how might things change in the future? This engaging event will explore the forces driving the market’s structural trends with a multi-asset view and investment management practices within macro and commodity focused strategies.
A distinguished group investors will share their experience in implementing both systematic and discretionary strategies, and how they aim to produce prudent risk adjusted returns.
The evening will begin with a fireside chat between Mark Carhart, CIO, Kepos Capital a systematic macro manager and Osvaldo Canavosio, Head of Research at Man/FRM. Messrs. Carhart and Canavosio will have a focused discussion on global market structure in general and systematic strategies in particular. The second part of the evening will feature a panel discussion of experienced commodity investors, who will provide insight into a wide spectrum of commodity markets.
