Group Description

The Financial Reporting and Analysis Group follows issues and events affecting financial reporting, corporate disclosure, and accounting standards. Its primary mission is to keep CFANY members informed about these issues. The group also comments on proposed new financial reporting standards (before Regulators and Standard Setters).

Our speaker for the Nov. 20 FRAG meeting will be Olga Usvyatsky, the publisher of the Deep Quarry newsletter (which is available on Substack).  Olga is an analyst who focuses on technical accounting and financial reporting.  She will provide us with an overview of a range of topics in her research universe, including SEC comment letter trends, restatements and company-specific accounting issues.
