The Sustainable Investing Group provides a forum to advance the dialogue around the role of sustainable investing (SI) in today’s markets. Programs focus on current SI issues, including those related to fiduciary responsibility and risk management. Members seek to identify the challenges and rewards of incorporating environmental, social, and governance factors in security analysis.

Featured Speaker: Andrew Eil

Andrew Eil is a seasoned policy, finance, and risk specialist with a focus on climate change and its implications for financial systems. He served as Head of Climate Risk for North America at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) from February 2022 to November 2024, where he advised financial institutions on managing climate-related financial and operational risks. Currently, he operates as a consultant on climate-themed investing and risk management while actively engaging as a venture advisor for Anthropocene Ventures and a deal scout for Alumni Ventures, promoting innovative solutions in climate technology.

Andrew holds a master’s degree in international development from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and a BA in Russian history and literature from Harvard University. Previously, he was an independent consultant specializing in climate change and sustainable investing and played a pivotal role in establishing Climate Finance Advisors (CFA), which grew under his leadership before its acquisition by WSP in 2021. His extensive experience includes collaborations with prominent organizations such as the World Bank and UN Development Programme, focusing on integrating climate risk into financial frameworks. Recognized as a thought leader, Andrew frequently contributes to discussions on climate resilience and risk management.
