Overview

Participants will gain a foundational understanding of how to assess and pursue opportunities in the defense technology investment sector through the lens of value investing. They will learn to identify emerging technologies with long-term growth potential by focusing on intrinsic value, dual-use (defense and commercial) applicability, and disciplined analysis. The session will also help participants align their defense technology knowledge, risk tolerance, and professional goals with sound investment strategies. Emphasis will be placed on both technical considerations and policy directives to evaluate market trends, translate complex sector insights into actionable investment theses, and effectively communicate value across technical, military, and financial domains. Attendees will leave with practical guidance on industry trends, and how to build a competitive portfolio in defense-sector investing.
