Overview

As a disruptive fintech player that has attracted an outsized amount of attention from mainstream financial media, Robinhood is sparking a retail renaissance: 25% of all trades now originate from retail investors. During the early days of the pandemic in 2020, the company raised $1.25 billion and was valued at nearly $11 billion; in February 2021, it raised another $3.4 billion.
