Co-Hosted by Women Veterans on Wall Street™ (wVOWS™)

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Women Veterans on Wall Street, CFANY Veterans Roundtable and CFANY Young Leaders Group are joining forces to host guest speaker, U.S. Navy Captain (Ret.) Shanti Sethi, former Executive Secretary and Defense Advisor to the Vice President of United States and Director at National Security Council, White House. We looking forward to a night of networking and connecting with women, veterans and allies alike.

The Veterans Roundtable is dedicated to supporting prior military service members through professional networking and finance education. Their mission is to establish the foundations from which our military veteran members can achieve leading positions in the financial world. They promote CFA Society New York and CFA Institute programs, while also being highly active in NYC regional and national-level veteran clubs and affairs.  Part of what attracts future generations of leaders to the military service is robust support groups that empower access to the fullest range of post-military career options, including the highest levels of finance.

CFANY Women’s Mentorship Program is organized by Young Leaders Group (YLG) in CFANY and has been successfully run since 2019. The program intends to build a connection between female candidates/charter-holders and more experienced professionals in the industry for professional development, women leaderships, and expanding network. It is an important initiative for YLG and CFANY to promote diversity and inclusion within the financial community.
